Established in 1973, the Kansas Chapter of The Wildlife Society (KSTWS) brings together wildlife professionals, researchers, educators, and students dedicated to conserving Kansas wildlife resources. Through collaboration, education, advocacy, and professional development, we support science-based wildlife conservation across the state.

Our History

The Kansas Chapter of The Wildlife Society was organized in 1973 as the Kansas affiliate of The Wildlife Society, an international non-profit scientific and educational organization dedicated to excellence in wildlife stewardship through science and education. The chapter supports wildlife professionals and conservation efforts throughout the state of Kansas.

Governance & Bylaws

The chapter operates under chapter bylaws consistent with the objectives and policies of The Wildlife Society.
